Well the first time did not go well with the shafts had to redo them in solid round bar.  

Previously the tube after pierce the aluminum shrunk significantly, which left a large

gap with the bearing.

The last batch of aluminium parts is ready . I rough cut first leaving a 0.2 mm larger on the outside, then i made a fixture to finish the parts. Works well so you do not have to cut the part until it loosens.

Previously screwed each piece to the cnc table, but this time gave more screws then i can handle

That is the current state of this project 

Here we can see how i attach the parts to the cnc table , is a 20mm phenolic board. I start to drill 2,5mm holes  that belong to the parts then i drill 2mm holes in to the phenolic to screw the wood bolts, that way after cut the perimeter of parts they stay attached to de table.

Hi, finally the frame is completed . Some tweaks on the bearing outside support have to be made, to do it i made a plastic jig and machine one at a time... it works fine.

With the small parts i did almost the same but by option.. i rough cut them then i trim the outside on the jig this time three at a time

just teasing you guys with this photo... i did not achieve my goals, I thought this weekend had the assembled chassis but is not possible. Later this week i will post some photos of it 

We already discover it can be a new trend on the optical industry... this is one of my friends involved in the project

Some updates on the build.

After some break downs on the cnc hardware, air compressor, wireless keyboard and the air oil assist "mist". Finally had time to give a big improvement on the production and trimming of the larger pieces.

It is a long time since the local track as closed and because of that also my Rc activity.
In the mean time had been drawing a new FPV vehicle capable of running while rains and even capable of crossing puddles.
Early had experience a long runs on foot to get my previous vehicle when he overturned, with this design no need for that because run both sides.
The electronics are housed inside aluminium tubes and only the antennas are out of it.
The project not yet finished still remains draw the dome for the camera.
